When to File a Claim
If an account is 45 days delinquent, you should place the account with ACS. By this point, most creditors have attempted to bring the delinquency to the debtors attention. You have most likely sent out several statements and made several phone calls. The debtor's poor response indicates either a lack of concern or a cash flow issue. In either case, a collection problem exists, and the account should be placed with our agency as soon as possible. Remember, you need to be able to focus on your business and paying customers.
